Establishment
Nicolas Srouji Establishment for Contracting (NSE) was founded in 1982 by Mr. Nicolas Srouji in Zahle, Lebanon. The company started with a single truck and excavator, focusing on small excavation projects. It soon expanded into civil contracting, securing small roadway projects from local municipalities. Over the past 30 years, NSE has grown into a leading construction company, providing reliable and professional services to both public and private sectors across Lebanon. The company’s portfolio includes an extensive network of roads and several notable bridges, contributing significantly to Lebanon’s infrastructure development.
In recent years, NSE has expanded its operations internationally, opening offices in the Ivory Coast and Congo, with plans for further growth into new markets. The company’s commitment to meeting client needs and ensuring high-quality work is demonstrated through the adoption of advanced construction methodologies and a dedication to delivering first-class projects.
NSE’s scope of work encompasses various construction trades, including infrastructure, roads, tunnels, bridges, water reservoirs, potable water and sewage networks, steel structures, and residential and office buildings. The company’s expertise is evident in the variety of projects executed throughout Lebanon, all completed to high standards and client satisfaction.
The administrative and professional staff at NSE are devoted to implementing state-of-the-art construction methods and stringent quality control procedures, in line with ISO 9001 requirements. The company is dedicated to building a future based on competence and quality, maintaining strong relationships with esteemed clients, and striving to be among the best in the industry.
In a significant transition, Mr. Nicolas Srouji entrusted the leadership of NSE to his son, Mr. Bechara Srouji, who now manages and runs the business, continuing the family’s legacy of excellence in the construction industry. Under Mr. Bechara Srouji’s leadership, NSE has further diversified its operations by establishing two subsidiary companies: Due Plus for Construction and NSEC. These subsidiaries operate under the guidance of NSE, collectively enhancing the company’s presence in the construction and contracting industry.
